A BIG (and TERPi) Year Under High Moon by Nate Potts

It was such a pleasure meeting the BIG & TERPi team at the Dogs n Dabs event from Canna Connexions in Niagara. I also enjoyed my fellow team member Rose's wonderful highlight with TERPi (found here). I am grateful that we have this lineup to review here now! The range of products available on the provincial sites, as well as through medicinal sources, is vast. Let’s start off strong with the craft rotational ounce!
BIG OZ
A Platinum Punch (Platinum Wreck x Fruit Punch) is very spicy with hints of sour citrus on the back end. With 26.3% THC and 3.3% terps, the effects for me were very calming. It certainly offered a great high for some creativity! The burn quality was excellent, with no harshness and a clean smoke. This flower also paired perfectly to make some infused joints with the diamonds!
BIG Diamonds
The BIG Diamonds are very gas-forward and heavy-hitting! They have sedative properties, whether infusing joints or mixing with sauce, or just enjoying them by themselves. The texture is perfect for coating one of the hash blunts!
BIG Hash Blunt
Lemon Berry Cookies (Kimbo Cookies x Purple Lemonade) flower brings a bakery vibe. The Nuken Orange Aid bubble hash burns smoothly and creates a full flavor with a sweet earthy sour citrus vibe. The burn quality really shined through on this blunt, which is not always the case when shopping in the infused blunt category!
BIG Cherry Resin Vape Cart
The highlight for this 510 is the effects: a heavy-hitting indica. It definitely provides a chilling-out vibe meant to glue you to the couch. However, the flavor left something to be desired for me personally, as I am not the biggest fan of cherries or vapes that taste like anything other than weed.
The Big Finale: TERPi
Berry Burst Resin AIO was once again hitting with more of an earthy tone compared to the cherry 510. This one’s effects were really nice, providing a hybrid functional expressive experience! The manufacturing was a standout; it never clogged and burned smoothly with full hits throughout.
I saved my favorite for last: a Purple Twist Resin infused 1g preroll. It was full of an earthy grape flavor with a potent pull and long-lasting effects. This preroll burned better than other resin-infused prerolls on the market! The burn quality was even and resin-filled with a nice ring!
I am really excited to see what BIG things come in 2026, both recreationally and medicinally!
